Vritax connector for Claude

Ask Claude which needs an app in its connector directory meets, and which other apps meet the same needs.

Server

https://mcp.vritax.com/mcp. No sign-in and no API key.

Setup

If Vritax appears in Claude’s connector directory, connect it from there. Otherwise add it as a custom connector: in Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Vritax and enter the server URL above.

Tools

Both tools only read. Neither changes anything or stores what you ask.

Get the needs an app meets

get_app_intents looks up an app by its name, its directory link or its directory id. It returns the needs its tools are classified under in Vritax’s public catalog, with the tools behind each need.

Find apps that meet the same needs

find_alternatives returns up to ten apps whose tools are classified under the same needs as the app you name, with the needs they share.

When a name matches several apps, or only matches loosely, Vritax lists the candidates and asks which one you meant. It does not guess.

Example prompts

  • Use Vritax: what needs does Airtable meet?
  • Use Vritax: which apps meet the same needs as Airtable, and which needs do they share?

What an answer means

Vritax reads the public metadata of Claude’s connector directory and classifies each tool into needs. An answer covers the apps in Vritax’s latest catalog snapshot and names that snapshot’s date. An app whose tools have not been classified yet has no needs to show.

A shared need marks a possible alternative. It does not show that two apps compete, and it does not predict which app Claude will recommend. Every answer carries this notice:

Vritax uses public catalog metadata and intent classifications. Shared needs indicate possible alternatives; they do not establish actual competition or predict Claude recommendations.
